Program Details
This is a free drop-in program in spring and summer for all children, youth, and families in the community looking to get active. Each Park Play Day provides a variety open play opportunities, games and activities. Registration is not required. Parent supervision is required at each event.
The 2026 Park Play Days have been announced:

Mondays, 10:00 am–12:00 pm

- August 10, 17, 24, 31
- West Highlands Park, 1185 Links Way
Fridays, 10:00 am–12:00 pm
- July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
- August 7, 14, 21, 28
- Valleyview Centennial Park (Soccer 1), 2288 Park Drive
During Extreme Heat and Weather or Poor Air Quality
If the air quality index is rated seven or higher, or if there is extreme heat or weather or an emergency event is in progress, the program will be relocated to the alternate indoor location or cancelled. If cancelled, notification will be posted on this page.
