The season for water parks starts June 1 and ends Labour Day, weather depending. With extended periods of warm weather, the season may be extended in the spring or fall.

The Albert McGowan Water Park is under construction from March to September 2025. The park will receive a new recirculating system, new surfacing, and upgraded water features.

Located in downtown Kamloops, in the City’s gemstone park, the accessible water park operates seasonally. This water destination keeps kids splashing all day with endless water play options. The centerpiece is a powerhouse of activities with slides, tunnels, play panels, and interactive water effects that kids spend hours exploring. A twistable HydroHelix lets kids shower themselves with patterns of spray, and a FlashFlood drops a bucket of water from above. For curious minds, a unique AquaGather station provides kids a way to manipulate and experiment with the flow of water like budding scientists.
