What is FAST?
The City of Kamloops has implemented a cross connection control software management system, FAST (Facility Assets Surveying & Testing).
How to use FAST?
Test reports can now be submitted electronically through FAST Tester.
As of July 1, 2025, a data entry fee will apply to Backflow Assembly Test Reports submitted by email or paper copy.

Test result
Testers will receive an emailed PDF copy of the completed test report form, as well as confirmation that the City of Kamloops has accepted the test report.
- Testers can then forward a copy to their customers and/or business office for record keeping.
- Annual testing and maintenance is a mandatory requirement for testable devices.
