The 2026 General Local Election is Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Eligible voters will elect:
- 1 Mayor and 8 Councillors to Kamloops City Council
- 5 Trustees to the School District No. 73 Board of Trustees - Area 1

The below names and associated documents are uploaded as submitted by Candidate Nominees and shall be listed in alphabetical order of last name. Note that this is not official until the Declaration of Candidates is made by the Chief Election Officer, and published here by close of business on Friday, September 11, 2026. Finally, the list of names as they will appear on the ballot will be official once the Declaration of Election by Voting or by Acclamation is authorized and published here by the Chief Election Officer by close of business on Monday, September 21, 2026.
