• Winter Season Skate Passes

  Winter 2024 Season Passes are available for purchase and are valid from January 1 to March 31, 2024.

  After purchasing a Season Skate pass sign up for the programs you would like to attend to have the fee waived.

  Reminder, registration for Drop-In Hockey and all Stick, Puck & Ring programs is live at 6:30 am the day of the ice time.

Season Skate Pass Questions

• How do I purchase a Season Skate Pass?

  A pass can be purchased by calling our registration line 250-828-3500 or in person at the Tournament Capital Centre, Westsyde Pool & Fitness Centre, or Kamloops Museum and Archives.

• How does the Season Skate Pass work?

  After you have purchased a Season Skate Pass, when you register for ice times in that season the fee will be waived.

• Do I need to register online or by phone if I have a Season Skate Pass?

  Yes. When you have a Season Skate Pass you will still need to register for the ice time you would like to attend.

  For programs with limited availability (Drop-In Hockey and all Stick, Puck & Ring programs), registration confirms your spot for the ice time.

  For Public Skating registering lets the skate staff know that you have paid the for the ice time.

• What programs can I use my Season Skate Pass for?

  Child, Youth, Adult, Senior and Family passes can be used for Public Skating and all Stick, Puck & Ring programs

  Drop-In Hockey passes can only be used for Drop-In Hockey programs.

• Will there be a Family Season Skate pass?

  Yes! Please contact Chelsea Tekonomy, Active Living Coordinator, during office hours Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm at 250-828-3709 to purchase a Family Season Skate Pass.

• What do I do with my unused Punch Cards?

  Punch cards cannot be used at this time as advanced registration is required.

  If you would like to use a punch card for Drop-In Hockey or any of our Stick, Puck & Ring programs bring them to either the Tournament Capital Centre, Westsyde Pool & Fitness Centre, or Kamloops Museum and Archives and ask to have them delivered to Chelsea Tekonomy in the Recreation Office. Once they get to the office a credit will be put onto your account for the current value of the punch card.

Program Guidelines

• General Program Guidelines

  • unsafe behaviour is not allowed.
  • no horseplay.
  • no food or drink on the ice.
  • no use of earphones or handheld devices on the ice.
  • children under 7 years of age must be supervised by an adult who is wearing skates.
  • helmets are mandatory for children under 13 years of age.
  • no carrying children or babies on the ice.
  • no strollers, walkers, chairs or footwear allowed on the ice.
  • Advanced registration is available. Register now.
  • Payment by cash is available onsite for Public Skate, Preschool Only, Family Only, Adult Only, and Seniors' Only.
• Stick Puck & Ring Guidelines

  • ​all participants are required to wear helmet and gloves.
  • no goalies, slapshots or scrimmages are permitted.
  • bring your own stick, pucks and rings.
  • no additional training equipment allowed on the ice (shooter tutors, stick handling aids, cones, etc.).

  Family Stick, Puck & Ring

  • this program is for children aged 12 and under to play with their adult guardian.
  • All children must be accompanied on the ice by an adult.
  • Advanced registration is required. Registration goes live the day of the ice time.

  Teen Stick, Puck & Ring

  • This program is for those 13+ years of age.
  • Advanced registration is required. Registration goes live the day of the ice time.

  • This program is for players 19 years and older.
  • A waiver must be signed prior to entering the program.
