Application to Vote by Mail for 2026 General Local Election

Instructions

If your application is complete and you qualify to vote, you will be notified by email that your package is ready for pickup. We are not mailing out mail ballot packages for any application received after 11:59 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2026. You may arrange to pick up a mail ballot package from City Hall, 7 Victoria Street West, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. We will reach out when packages are available for pickup.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information below, including, but not limited to, email, mailing address, other addresses, and any and all other information provided on this form, is accurate. 

You or the person obtaining your mail ballot package on your behalf is responsible for bringing at least one piece of photo identification to ensure the identity of the person picking up the mail ballot package.      

You are responsible for ensuring that your completed ballot and documents are received by the Chief Election Officer at the designated return location identified as City Hall by Saturday, October 17, 2026, before the close of voting at 8:00 pm. Note: We will not accept postmarked envelopes.

Select this option if the elector resides in Kamloops.
Select this option if the elector resides outside Kamloops but owns real property in Kamloops in relation to which the elector is voting.

If you are a Resident Elector, enter your residential address.
If you are a Non-Resident Property Elector, enter the address of the property you own in Kamloops in relation to which you are voting.
