Kamloops, B.C. - The City of Kamloops has enhanced its online system, 'MyCity,' with the addition of a property tax section, making it easier than ever for Kamloops residents to access their account information. Since the introduction of this new section, which coincided with 2010 property tax notices, MyCity has seen more than 2,100 property owners registered to use the system.
The site, which is accessible through www.mycity.kamloops.ca, enables customers to have around-the-clock access to their Property Tax Account details, allowing them to monitor account balances and transactions as well as:
Additionally, MyCity provides customers with the ability to access Development and Engineering Services Permit Applications, Business License Accounts and Dog License Accounts.
"MyCity is a great way for residents to get information on their various city accounts at their convenience. Being able to access up-to-date transactions in their property tax account, seeing the status of payments, and whether or not their home owner grant was processed is especially useful at this time of year when property taxes are due," said Tanya Garost, Revenue and Taxation Manager.
Property tax payments and home owner grant claims are due July 2, 2010.
